The board, and to what extent the FB is professionalized ? May be one of the most relevant questions someone can ask himself, as the answer may sadly not be as obvious as it should. For my chosen case, in one word, ego (almost understandable), and in some other words like the quote goes :

(Another way of saying that I do not claim to be referring to my FB at all)
For illustrating you my example may be the best possible answer : my X friend once received a letter to his dad, which they both opened together called “Board Meeting”.
The Y father told his X son he could read it to him in his place, which he did.
As X started reading.. I quote :
Chair (CEO): "The Chair opens the floor for questions."
Chair: "Are there any questions or remarks at this time?"
[Silence / No response from attendees]
Chair: "There being no questions or further commentary, the discussion is concluded."
Chair: "Thank you all for your attention and contributions. This meeting is now adjourned."
As X asked his father Y, where is this scene from, Y replied, with a cigarette on his hand and a drink on the other, holding back a laugh : “It's your grandfather’s sense of theatre, it's the conversation we were supposed to have had 😂”
X : “So you really don’t discuss those matters ?”
Y : “Who are you gonna argue with? your father 😂? He writes something every year and we sign it. What he wants for us is to do the job, not arguing.”
I think this might be a good illustrative answer to how professionalized the guy who knows a guy who knows another guy’s FB is.
Indeed the whole purpose of this module might be to understand both the importance and the effects of such issues, and indeed some cases need it more than others. The question remains, are such cases able to open up to advisory services? or blacklist the person whose idea it is?
