Even though we've added formal roles, some outside advisors, and more transparent procedures to our family business, decision-making still combines business logic with family values. While family performance is more casual and is assessed by harmony, involvement, and legacy continuity, business performance is measured by revenue, market share, and innovation outputs. Bold strategic changes can occasionally be delayed by emotional ties, but competitive edge is tracked. Within the bounds of tradition, innovation is welcomed. While financial metrics are important, unity and upholding our reputation are just as important indicators of success. The ability to balance both worlds is still a constant challenge and a special strength.
