Refer to the model that I have attached below for better understanding of The Three Circle Model Of Family Business.
The model consists of three terms: Ownership, Business and Family.
Ownership
Ownership can be internal and external of family. In the image below:
1 is the ownership by the people out of the family. They are external investors who own a part of the company by investing and not work in it.
3 are the people who own and also work in it but are not family members
4 are the family members who own a part of the company by buying shares but do not work, partial ownership with no work.
7 are the owners, members of family and also working there.
Business
2 they are just employees out of the family.
6 They work in the firm without any ownership.
Family
5 they are not involved in any kind in the business.
Thank you @Kashish The post provides a visual aid to illustrate the Three Circle Model, which could be helpful for better understanding the concept. However, the post is primarily descriptive, providing a breakdown of the Ownership, Business, and Family circles without providing any analysis or synthesis. The post does not offer any original insights or ideas, and it does not engage with other members of the forum or encourage discussion.
In terms of value-added, the post provides a basic overview of the Three Circle Model and its application to family businesses. However, it could benefit from more analysis and synthesis, as well as more concrete examples and citations to support its statements.
The post does provide some examples to illustrate its points, such as the different types of ownership in the Ownership circle. However, it does not provide any specific citations to support its statements or demonstrate the credibility of the information presented. This could be a concern for those seeking further information or looking to verify the accuracy of the information presented.
Overall, the post meets some of the criteria for masters' level discussion forum participation, but it could benefit from more analysis, synthesis, engagement with other forum members, and use of credible sources and real-world examples to support its points.
